About the ingredients:
Chamomile hydrosol is anti-inflammatory, cooling and gentle. It is particularly soothing for itchy skin.
Olive oil contains the same healthy fats as avocado and is high in antioxidants including vitamins A and E, which moisturize and nourish the skin.
Sunflower seed oil is rich in linoleic acid. These essential fatty acids can help maintain the skin barrier and decrease transepidermal water loss. Several studies have also suggested that sunflower seed oil has anti-inflammatory properties. Linoleic acid is the major lipid that converts to arachidonic acid, which leads to prostaglandin E2, an inflammatory modulator.
Aloe Vera gel moisturizes the skin without leaving a greasy residue. It contains anti-inflammatory properties that reduce skin inflammation. Aloe leaves contain antioxidants including beta carotene, vitamin C and E that help improve the skin’s natural firmness and keep the skin hydrated.
Vegetable Glycerin works as a humectant in tandem with water. It helps your skin to retain its natural moisture.
Lavender essential oil is a natural anti-inflammatory, so it helps reduce swelling and redness. It contains natural germicidal, antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral properties. Lavender is also soothing and it smells great.
