A message from the maker:

Verdant skin care products are handmade in small batches at my home in south Santa Cruz county. The Verdant mission is to create products that harness the healing powers of plants as simply as possible, using the purest ingredients available. With this formula, I believe it’s viable to have high-quality, accessible, plant-based skin solutions.

I grew up on a 40-acre homestead in Washington State, where from a young age I followed my mother around the garden, pasture, root cellar, and kitchen. This instilled in me a love for the natural world, an understanding of plants and animals, and a belief in the connectedness of all things. I’ve brought my life experience full circle as a student of horticulture and herbalism, and through founding Verdant.

I am dedicated to sourcing ingredients that are fair trade, cruelty free, and organic: local whenever possible. Verdant is certified cruelty free. I use minimal, sustainable packaging, and products come in beautiful reusable glass jars, bottles, and tins with removable labels. Verdant products are free of parabens, petroleum, sodium lauryl sulfates, sodium laureth sulfates, and phthalates.

When you purchase Verdant, you are part of a growing, conscious movement to respect our bodies and respect the earth while enjoying the bounty of gifts that the botanical world offers us.

Thank you!
